There are a few issues in your regex:

  • Your regex is bound to the limits of the string (^,$) but the strings are adjacent in the sample
  • You regex must account for the other fields (lastname, firstname, alias) even if they are not being captured
  • The separator characters (comma, space) should not be inside the captured fields.
