Android Build a Simple Android App Improving Our Code Dynamically Changing the Background Color

Relative layout help

when I type "private RelativeLayout mRelativeLayout;" I'm given the error "cannot find symbol class Relative Layout" and then the set background color part of the program doesn't work either. Help?

please provide us code or error.

Have you tried a clean and rebuild of your project? Go to the menu at the top, click build -> clean project, then when that has finished go to build -> rebuild project
