Remain hover color when dropdown is shown

Hey guys... Sorry if title is bad...

I have simple navigation where when you hover elements, they change color, and also dropdown appears. When mouse leave first element and hovers dropdown menus, first element will lose its hover state (color).

What can I do to remain active label color even mouse is hovering dropdown menu and not label itself?
