Python

remove in python

def dissremoval(word):

       return(word)

I need you to make it so, inside of the function, all of the vowels ("a", "e", "i", "o", and "u") are removed from the word. Solve this however you want, it's totally up to you! Oh, be sure to look for both uppercase and lowercase vowels!

Hello Rishu! Here is how I did it, hope it helps :D

def disemvowel(word):
    vowels = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u"]
    list_of_letters = list(word)
    for letter in list_of_letters.copy():
        if letter.lower() in vowels:
            list_of_letters.remove(letter)
    word = "".join(list_of_letters)
    return word
