Remove item not working

the remove List works once where it remove the item once but doesn't work when it tries to remove it again

You can't remove the same element twice.

Right now, removeLi is a global, and you set it only once. So when it has been removed, it makes sense that you won't be able to remove it again.

But if you move the assignment of removeLi into the click handler, then on each click the item to be removed will be selected again and you can continue removing items until none are left.
