PHP

renaming index.html to index.php isn't allowing me to run as localhost through MAMP.

So I'm on the lesson in PHP the Basics where I have first renamed the index.html file from the project files to index.php. index.html loads up just fine (I have all of the files in htdocs as the instructor said) but when I rename the file to index.php, the page won't reload. I've tried restarting the MAMP server, but the html file seems to load. I'm using Chrome 35.0.1916.153, which is the most current version. Any tips?

Nevermind--syntax error. I feel like an idiot.

Do you mind elaborating on your syntax error? I am having the same problem with MAMP, and can't seem to figure out the problem.

It will happen time and time again :)
