Resetting Progress

Hi Treehouse, I just want to know if there is a way to reset all courses I've taken and reset my points too. I want to review my tracks but since ive done them already it doesn't let me know where I left off. So is there a way to reset my courses?

They should add something to reset the whole track, or just manualy go throw each of it and disable the 'complete' video .

Yeah, its hard reviewing a track, I have to always remember where I left off. I contacted support to see what they can do.

@Konrad, I emailed their support and yes, they definitely can reset your progress! -Thanks Paul Ogden for the suggestion really helped. I just wanted to start off with a clean slate.

Hey Hi,

very helpful discussion. It may also be of interest for those like me, who had to suspend training for a longer period of time. I find it very helpful to start from scratch just to re-activate relevant parts of your brain.

Hi Konrad,

well, I just requested my progress to be reset. My initial request was for a reset of only one course. The instant-reply was that they only do account reset rather than individual courses. After I authorized the support team to go ahead, it was done within one day.

As for the wording.... I'd have to check my emails (not at hand atm) but I am pretty sure I wrote nothing special.

If this doesn't help I may be able to ping the support team and ask them to contact you.

Beware! The only option is to have your progress on ALL courses set to zero.

I'm not sure, but today is Thursday, and i wrote to them two days ago at around 1o clock UK time. Shoun't they reply? i never ever got any response from their support for any reason, never.

Oh, guess what, the emails were in my Spam folder... gosh! Thats why i never relieved any reply from them! Now i have lots to read lol maybe.

Thank you! I got a confirmation from other post from a treehouse Staff that the email was send, and i just recently got another email from treehouse so i knew it had to work so i found it in spam.

And I can see the result... your're down to 46 points. Knowing that you have been on 5k ish I find that really impressive. Don't know if I would have been able to let go of.

Well, I have quite few forum points, but they even reseted them, and when i went and looked at my previous posts, there is best answer set up, i just don thave posts, i need to do it again lol, now my previous posts on points are bugged :D

Well, in terms of points, for me they dont play a big role. More likely i want to learn and thats why i wanted the restart because im kind of messy, iv gone into Ruby etc.. which i didnt stay, so i don tknow Ruby.. and now im just you know, learning :) like if im using treehouse for the first time :D it really helps. Although yesterday i did like 20% of WP again, and after they reseted it, well, better for me! :D

They should make some reset for us to be able to tick and untick.
