Resizing mediaelement.js through JavaScript

Trying to resize the vidoe through JavaScript

Here is the code:

const videoWrapper = document.querySelector('#videoWrapper'); const videoWidth = videoWrapper.clientWidth; const videoHeight = videoWrapper.clientHeight;

$('video, audio').mediaelementplayer({ features: ['playpause', 'fullscreen', 'volume', 'progress', 'tracks'], startLanguage: 'en', defaultVideoWidth: videoWidth, defaultVideoHeight: videoHeight, enableAutosize: true

videoWrapper.addEventListener('onresize', (e) =>{

Right now all it will do is once the page loads it will resize the video once. I can't get it to reisze again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
