[resolved] I need help with a challenge

it asks, "Add a new attribute selector that will target the input element with the type attribute value text. Set the background color to lightyellow." It keeps telling me this is not correct.

[input type="text"] {
    background-color: lightyellow;
}

can someone please explain to me why this is wrong? Thank you

input[type="text"]
