Response is continuing to go to onFailure even with the manifest update

I wasn't seeing the response in the logs, so I added a log entry of the generated URL if the call goes to onFailure so that I could test the URL itself and make sure it was ok. The URL works just fine in the browser.

I've added android:usesCleartextTraffic="true" to the manifest, but no dice. I've also switched to https:// and that doesn't work either.

Found a "solution": The app had to be uninstalled and reinstalled and then it worked just fine. Still not sure what happened or why, but at least it works now.

Good ol' IT Crowd coming through again.
