Responsive Breakpoints

I'm having a hard time knowing at what widths I should put my breakpoints in for a responsive website. I've read multiple different opinions on the matter, and I'm wondering if anybody could weigh in on a best practice, or what works for them.

the best thing i've seen on this subject is to resize the browser window and notice where the natural breakpoints are it can be different for different sites.. there is no rule for this.
