CSS

Responsive height?

Hey guys,

I've designed a 1 page site for a client, that needs to scale with screen height, so that there is no vertical scrollbar.. Has anyone done this?

The design is based around a big circle, which has icons absolutely positioned inside it, they need to scale with it.. anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks!

Ben

Do you have a link to the live site? If not create a codepen.

Hi James,

I haven't began coding as I want to get an answer for this first.. but I have a mockup of how I'd like it to look: www.hecticdesigns.co.uk/clients/bt/bury-tomorrow-mockup.jpg

It's probably intermediate level of CSS to do it.

  • fluid background image
  • positioning relatively absolute
  • use media queries to make it adaptive

Don't suppose you have an reference URL's to look at?
