Responsive Navigation Improvements

Hi Everyone!

As you may have already noticed, we released a few improvements to the application earlier today — mainly targeting the navigation and how it "responds" to smaller screens (i.e. tablets and mobile phones).

A few things you'll notice:

  • The points circle around your profile picture allows you to easily keep track of the points you've accumulated from anywhere in the application.
  • We've shortened the height of the fixed page headings on tablets and mobile phones to utilize the space more effectively.
  • We've also moved the notifications icon to the navigation menu on tablets and mobile phones.
  • And for those of you who love web standards, we made a better use of HTML5 in this update as well :)

With that said, the design and content of each page should feel roughly the same; so if you see anything that doesn't feel quite right and needs a little more love please let us know!

I was having trouble scrolling on the Leaderboards page. I turned to landscape and quickly scrolled and it worked. Turning the phone back I was able to scroll the same way. However, loading the page and not immediately scrolling resulted in a page that isn't functional. Just wanted to give a heads up. Not sure if its affecting anyone else.

Thanks for letting us know Chris. We'll look into it this morning and see if we can replicate it. In the meantime, which phone / os / browser are you using?

We just released a fix for the issue that you were having. Can you confirm that you're able to scroll each page as expected now?
