Responsive web application to iphone/android

Hi!

I have a web application created for my client, and he wants a native app, with the same appearance and functionality. The web application is already responsive, is there a way to build a simple android/iphone app that only shows the page of the web application or only redirects to the browser?

Or should i use phonegap for the job? Is it hard to learn?

The application was built with Ruby on Rails.
