In "hours" method what is wrong with my string with format?

class Store:
  open = 9
  close = 18

  def hours(self):
    return "We're open from {} to {}".format(open, close)

You're doing great! But because you pass in self here (which is correct), you also need to access open and close with self.open and self.close. Take a look at your code modified that passes:

class Store:
  open = 9
  close = 18

  def hours(self):
    return "We're open from {} to {}".format(self.open, self.close)
