Ribbit - text message

I saw that this discussion has been over before(https://teamtreehouse.com/forum/parse-private-message), but with no luck so I try again. Maybe there is a smart person out there who can give me some tips to change the Ribbit app so I also can send text message to selective friends as I do with images and video.

I'm almost done with this feature. I have created a button that sends you to a text box where you can input a message and send it to different users. It sends through Parse but I'm having trouble as to how to retrieve the message. It shows up in the user's inbox but when the user opens the text message, the app crashes.
