Robotics

What is the best language to program for robotics?

1 Answer

C or Assembly.

C and Assembly are the most common languages used in robotics, more modern industrial robots are starting to lean towards C++, C# and Java but the majority are still using C and Assembly.

I started doing some basic robotics myself recently using Arduino microcontrollers https://www.arduino.cc/ .

The Arduino uses it's own framework built on C, but also fully understands C without the framework as well, I think they are a good place to start for beginners.
