I just want to know the comparison of the two server side languages, from what I heard Ruby is easier to learn. I am a beginner, and I just want to know your guys opinion. What do jobs nowadays demand more, PHP or Ruby? and Which one did you pick to learn and why? Did you like it? Thanks in advance :)

632 PointsWith my experience on PHP I'd recommend PHP. :) I've never tried Ruby though, but PHP is more common.

23,983 PointsI was the same way but I just recently started using Ruby and it makes me wish I started sooner! It's true that it's much easier and personally I think it's more robust. There are still a lot of PHP around but I'm ready for the future! Just check out the foundations for both and have fun :D
