Ruby, Confused With Set Up

I followed all videos in the beginning and was able to get RoR set up, then in subsequent videos, I do not know how to get RoR going again, if that makes sense. I'm trying to build the simple app with Ruby, and I am not sure how to connect with Jason's github, or even if we are supposed to do that (is that just for demonstration?). Any advice would be helpful.

you may not need to connect to his github (which you do by cloning the repo). IIRC (its been a long time since Ive done that project) he just does that to demonstrate working with multiple developers. Im pretty sure you can write all the code you need by just following along without any code being provided from them. I may be wrong though.

I think you may be right, I will try and connect to the github, as I did not do that.
