Ruby Hash Methods Challenge 1 Task 1

I am not sure how to finish the problem

hash.rb 
grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }
calories = { "calories" => 100 }

item = { "item" => "final_item" }
puts hash.merge({'calories'}) 
grocery_item = final_item

Hi Brenda,

Here's simple way, you create new hash named final_name EQUAL with existed grocery_item, just like similar to previous first and second line. Then merged with previous hash which is calories. 

grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }
calories = { "calories" => 100 }

final_item = grocery_item.merge(calories)
