7,329 PointsRuby Install On 64 bit Windows - Problem.
I get an error "193: %1 is not a valid win32 application"
I guess that the rails installer is a 32 bit application? If so how can I work around this.
Just changed from mac to PC (because mac had some issues)
This is super irritating as I really want to get this work done.
Any help would be great

2,744 PointsHey Jack, I'm on Win7 64bit and I don't see any problem with installing. Just went here: http://railsinstaller.org/ downloaded and installed without any problem.
There should be a lot of other options too, try and Google another installer if the one you tried doesn't work. (Or check if you can select a 64bit version on the site you originally tried.)
