Ruby IRB error

Hi,

i had a lot of troubles installing ruby and all the other stuff that is needed. After searching a lot i got everything to work first. The only error left is when i start IRB or when i install a gem (like money):

Error on IRB and gem install:

/christophrumpel1.rvm/rubies/ruby-1.9.3-p362/bin/irb:4: warning: Insecure world writable dir /usr/local/bin in PATH, mode 040777

Additionally i get this message on gem install error:

It seems your ruby installation is missing psych (for YAML output). To eliminate this warning, please install libyaml and reinstall your ruby.

Do i really have to install ruby again? It just seems like a permission error? Cheers

How was Ruby installed? Do you have homebrew installed also?

Hey,

it was already installed on my mac, i guess i just updated it. It was half a year ago, but i am not sure. Homebrew is installed.

It's very hard to say what the error is here. Maybe try installing Ruby and rvm again from the http://railsinstaller.org/ project?
