My computer is not mobile at the moment yet there is a Ruby meetup in portland tonight that I'm thinking of attending.
Is it super interactive and necessary to have one with you or is it pretty laid back? What has your experiences been like?

I'd suggest checking for a mailing list for the meetup in question and asking there what this month's topic is going to be. Have fun at the meetup if you go!

9,943 PointsThanks Geoff! Unfortunately, I had something come up and wasn't able to make it, but I was excited to find out they meet regularly... with free beer. I'll definitely be joining them on a regular basis!
