Which resources have you looked at online? The RubyMotion book by Clay Allsopp and the free online tutorial are pretty good resources. The RubyMotion samples are a pretty good code samples.

I found RubyMotion to be a bit overwhelming at first until I read through the first few chapters of the RubyMotion book.
