Ruby on Rails Customizing Forms code challange

Hi all,

Is anyone else getting an error alert box when they submit the code for the code challenge? I'm not talking a red flag that the code I entered is wrong, It simply processes the code and then returns an alert box saying something went wrong.

Hi @Elliot

Would you mind taking a screenshot of the error as it is happening? What kind of browser are you currently on? What code challenge are you on, could you link it to us? We definitely need more details to help you out :)

After you gather that info feel free to post it on the Forums :) the team and community might be able to help you. Just to be safe, could you also send us an email at help@teamtreehouse.com

Thanks a bunch!

Hi I'm currently using firefox. I sent the request to support at teamtreehouse regarding the issue with the code editor. The heart of the issue revolves around the code editor as the alert box keeps saying "Whoops! Looks like something went wrong. Try resubmitting." Also I can't post the screenshot to the forum.

@Elliot Thanks a bunch! I'll keep an eye out for your email :)

Sounds like there might be something either going on with the code challenge itself, or perhaps the browser. I'm not 100% sure so I'll be sending a link to this post (and your email when it pops in the inbox) over to the Dev team! :D

It isn't necessary for you to complete the code challenge to progress through the course, just to earn the badge. So - for now I suggest either skipping it or trying another browser :) keep an eye out for the Dev's reply soon! Have you tried finishing the code challenge in another browser?

Yeah, I will definitely move on to the next video (the badge thing is a nice psychological boost). Well I'm off to the races. Thanks.
