Hi Aurelian Spodarec ,

We also provide access to a pre-installed ruby environment in Workspaces, so you can work along with the videos without having to install Ruby on your own computer.

Hope that helps!

Ow thats great! I remember using workspace for ruby . :) thank you i will use it for the ruby foundations :)

sure, no worries. The heavy install was the the stage on installing ruby dev and the first badge in ruby foundations. If you are trying to avoid the installs, may be better to start with ruby basics and then start with the second badge in foundations until you get your mac. Hope this helps :) DL

Well i did ruby basics and other one with gained me 650 points and now im comfortable with methods, variable, puts gets capitalize! etc.. print if elsif else numbers and well i guess thats all, it took me around two days to get used to it and now im ready to move on if you know what i mean : p

haha, yes. Giddy-up

If you follow the Rails track first Ruby Basics then Ruby Foundations.

Ruby Basics uses Workspaces and has code challenges Ruby Foundations predates those things at Treehouse.

O yes i have a questoin about that , because the Ruby track is made of Making a Website , thats okay but later one . Introducing to programming , Ruby and then JavaScript?? but this woundt get confused ? i know some basics of JS but i want to focus to earning ruby on rails and when i have a solid foundation go to the console github and JS what do you think? As im in Ruby foundatoins they dont use workspace so ill just opened some workspace.
