30,501 PointsSass advanced nesting problem
I am having problems with the Getting Started with Sass task 4:
We want to add an exception for <a> tags that are are in the<div> with a class of .footer: those links should be purple. Use the post-selector ampersand to achieve this.
Putting the code to Code pen (http://codepen.io/anon/pen/Egpry) produces the purple link, but the task wont go through. ” Bummer! Please use the ampersand selector following the selector for the .footer div.”
What am I missing? Below is the code I am trying to use.
/* Write your SCSS code below. */
p{
a{
color:red;
.footer & {
color:purple;
}
}
>a{
color: blue;
&:hover{
opacity:0.5;
}
}
}

2,541 PointsYeah, it's a little unclear since .footer
would technically select the stuff in the footer, and there's nothing else with that class on the page. (If there was some kind of list in the footer or something besides the one div, I think that'd help...)
