You're very close, you simply need to remove the space you have between div
and .footer
and place it between .footer
and &
and the challenge will pass.
div.footer &

Sorry for the long delay, there was a couple of small errors which I missed t he first time round, after formatting your code I found your
div.footer &
selector wasn't inside the:hover
pseudo class along with some curly brace issues.
