Sass Basics Declaring and Using Variables

Hi Heidi! I can't see what you did for the challenge but, I have put mine below to see if that helps ?.

$color-brand:  #6a5acd;
$gutter: 20px;

h1 {
  color: $color-brand;
}

.col {
  margin-left: $gutter;
}

.row {
  margin-bottom: $gutter;
}

That's what I did and it's telling me that it's wrong.

$color-brand: #6a5acd

h1 { color: $color-brand; }

Have you tried copying and pasting mine into your challenge? Sometimes it can be a spacing issue...or you could put yours on here and I could have a look? ?

There is no semi-colon at the end of your color-brand - perhaps that's it?
