I'm about frustrated with this question. I've searched online and through the forums about what the answer could be.
In addition to the code shown here, I've also tried: & .footer { .footer & & div.footer {
From what I understand of the lesson video, the correct answer should be .footer &. I tried including the divs from what I've seen of other posts and answers. I'm really trying to figure out what I did wrong, but it seems like I'm doing everything right and still nothing is happening.

I don't know why but the hover code I put in the original post worked every time I did the challenge. Once you answered, it stopped working and I put in what you wrote.
