6,873 PointsSass nested structuring not passing challenge, but works on my test environment.
The step for the following: We want to add an exception for <a> tags that are in the <div> with a class of .footer: those links should be purple. Use the post-selector ampersand to achieve this.
I copied the html and scss into my own Sass environment, and is working correctly, with the footer link colored purple.
But this same scss is not passing in the code challenge. I cannot understand why. Am I missing something?

19,579 PointsHey Bryan,
I know this might seem strange, even pointless but the challenge specifically mentions div
of .footer
so try
div.footer & {
color: purple;
}
Hope this helps.

6,873 PointsThat was it exactly, thanks Wayne. I thought I had tried this at one point, but perhaps I had something else wrong at that time.
