Why wouldn't
p a { color:blue; } be valid scss?
Also, in the video we used class selectors to initiate the sass, in the quiz there is no mention of using the classes. We haven't learned how to apply sass with out classes.

I believe it's looking for something like this:
p {
color: blue;
a {
color: red;
}
}
I notice in your code you're using a class selector for your paragraph and attribute tags. That may be where you're running into an error.

Courses Plus Student 45,640 PointsIt not that it isn't valid Sass. The thing is the challenge asked for nested Sass.
p{
color: blue;
a{
color: red;
}
}
