Saving a File in Git Basics

Hello.

In the video committing changes, from the GIT Basics course, a README file is added in NANO and saved. How do I save? Once saved, how do I get back to the main NANO screen

Hey Jason,

You can save a file by exiting Nano with "Ctrl X" then pressing "Y" at the prompt to save the changes. You can reference this via the following video: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/git-basics/getting-started-with-git/committing-changes Hope this helps!
