Saving a File in Sublime

When I save my Index.html file in Sublime Text 2, it creates a new one instead of saving my old one! Is this supposed to happen? And if it isn't supposed to happen, how do I fix it?

What is happening id that the file you have open and are working on then trying to save is not in the directory on the left hand side.

If you be sure to go to "Project" then "open project" and select your file it will appear in the side bar and when you save all will be well !!

Hope this helps
