Hi Jessica, you have a couple of minor issues with your code, first off you do not require any <a> link tags, Secondly the challenge asks you not to include alt inside the <img> tags, simple remove them and it should pass :) like so:

  <ul>
        <li>
           <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg">
        </li>
        <li>
            <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg">
        </li>
        <li>
            <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg">
        </li>
      </ul>

Hi, Jessica. This challenge actually just wants you to put the images, not have them linked. Your code is technically correct, but pay close attention to the instructions on the code challenges, as they can be finicky.

thanks! apparently i got a little ahead of myself.
