The prt sc button doesn't take a screen shot, so I looked it up, and it says there are a handful of steps beginning with that button, but that's doesn't seem right either. All programs is not appearing when I click the start button. Anyone?

The "Print Screen" button copies the screen to the "clipboard".

Then you need to open an image utility (like "Paint"), paste the clipboard, and then save it into a file.
