Searching for content concerning top-bar!

Hi guys, I have previously covered a section somewhere where i learnt how to create a bar across the top of the page that stayed there as you scrolled down. I have forgotten how to achieve this and can't find the content anywhere now. Could anybody help?

Thanks!

position: fixed ?

How do you create it though and the content inside it? eventually i want it to drop down into a list.

Well, you would have to create what you want in this top bar. I assume it's the header for your page. Then you would give the outer containing element a position of fixed.

What do you mean by "want it to drop down into a list"?

I don't know how to create a top bar is what i am saying. I have covered a tutorial on how to do it but cannot find the tutorial on treehouse. A bit like a navigation.

You can take a look at the badges you've completed (and dates) and see if you can remember the approximate time you remember learning about this. You might then be able to figure out the right lesson.

If you are not sure where to even start with this then I recommend you review some of the lessons you've already completed. You can also complete one of the project based web site courses. "How to make a website" or "Build a simple website". These will fill you in on how to make a header with a navigation bar.

any idea what badge it could be included in?

Do you any idea when you think you learned it? If you think it was about 2 weeks ago for example, then look at your completed badges around that time period and see if anything jogs your memory.

I see that you completed some responsive design badges. It could be in there maybe.

If you're unable to find it then I think one of the projects I mentioned could help you out a lot. You'll be in a better position to create your own.

Just had a thought... If you could remember who the teacher was then that could help narrow it down.
