Seattle Meetup

I'm looking for other Treehouse students in the Seattle area to form a meetup. If anyone's interested please let me know.

What exactly creeps you out about wanting to network with people?

Seattlite reporting in. It would be pretty cool to get a monthly or quarterly meet up going for networking, sharing tips, encouragement, and maybe potentially figuring out joint projects to try out. If there is some interest from people in the area I think it would be pretty cool to find a quiet bar or coffee shop to meet up at. I recall a number of monthly/weekly meetups I've heard of in the Seattle area for specific languages and I think I'll do some more research on what's around since I heard about them before I started learning to code. I'll post my results here if I come across any interesting ones.

I'll be following this thread to see if there are also others interested.

Hey, thanks for responding. I'd be willing to set one up even if it's just the two of us to start out with. I went to one recently and plan to go again, but I thought it would also be cool to have one for just Treehouse students. The people involved in the one I went to (Code & Brew) are very experienced developers (10+ years). I feel like that is excellent for helping push me to the next level, but I would also like to spend some time with other students.
