selecting by id challenge, Javascript and the DOM

I don't know where the button with the id of 'sayPhrase or how to select it.

Can somebody help me?

the variable exists (var button). You can use the document object to retrieve the element and assign it to the button variable. The method you want on the document is either querySelector or getElementById
