Self Destruct Messaging - Andorid - Nexus 5 video Limit

I'm using my Nexus 5 to test the app while I create it, and I'm watching this video "http://teamtreehouse.com/library/build-a-selfdestructing-message-android-app/capturing-photos-and-videos/taking-a-video-using-an-intent" and the "videoIntent.putExtra(MediaStore.EXTRA_DURATION_LIMIT, 10);" code isnt working for me. When i take a video it counts up and records the video forever, and doesn't stop at 10 seconds. Is there a way to fix this? I also downloaded Ben's project files and copied and pasted so its not the code.

On my Nexus 5 the timer starts at 10 and counts down. Are you using the default camera app?

Yes, and I've looked through all the videos and I don't see any mistakes in my code or settings anywhere. Everything else works fine except the count down.

Strange! If you want to zip up your project and email it to help@teamtreehouse.com then I can try running it on mine to see how it works. Which version of Android are you on? Not that it should make a difference, but I'm on 4.4.2.

I'll email it when I get to school, and I'm on version 4.4.2 as well.

Also the app stops responding when I log out which is weird, not sure if it gets fixed later in the videos or if I broke something though though,
