How one could fix the 10 seconds to start counting once the Image/Video have been downloaded completely ?

Great question, Yuval. You'd have to trigger the timer once the download is complete. You can do this different ways depending on how you are downloading the image. With Picasso, you should be able to use a different into method that calls a callback when the download is complete: http://square.github.io/picasso/javadoc/com/squareup/picasso/RequestCreator.html#into(android.widget.ImageView,%20com.squareup.picasso.Callback)
