Send tweet without tweet sheet

Is it possible to send a tweet from a button without launching a tweet sheet?

Don't think you can do that because when the tweet sheet comes up you are giving the user the ability to send a tweet. It would violate Twitter's Terms of Service to send a tweet without the user knowing,

Posting to the forum is only allowed for members with active accounts.
