General Discussion

sending website files to a client

I took up a project for someone and I wanted to send them some samples of the site I am designing but when I zip the folder all the CSS styles disappear. The site appears fine when I get the files from my original folder, but when I get it from the zipped folder the CSS is gone. I want to send this person a sample of what I was doing and get their thoughts. How can I do this? (This is just for their viewing and not to be uploaded live).

Thanks for any help.

Post your folder and file structure here? Weird.

Jason,

Thanks for your response. I am not sure how to post my folder here, but my file structure is typical. It is a project folder with:

img folder css folder page.html page.html etc.

It is very basic. Again, it works fine when I use the original folder but the zipped folder removes css styles.

Problem solved. I didn't unzip the file first...DOH!
