SEO Project - Guidance on Web Design

I love the content which is on this site and I am going through it! I really am...but I have a project which I want to start with. It consists of ranking lead generation sites for the travel industry in Colombia to sell leads to hotels, or to different companies. I am frustrared though as I dont know if to create the lead gen page from scratch or from a theme ;(...and it seems all so complicated. Remember it is for SEO so I cannot use something like Unbounce or LeadPages. Thoughts or advises pleaaaaase ? I feel really frustrated...

I suggest that if you are new to coding, but want to create this project yourself, you work on your project as you go through the courses. Applying what you learn as you go. However, I would not advertise it until you have completed the track or two, as there is a lot to learn, and already a lot of pollution on the web. Perhaps Front End Developement and Web Design. Create something worthy of advertising.

Thanks Drew and community... appreciate your answer. When it comes to wordpress, which theme would you recommend I should learn. Do you have any resource? I havent seen theme specific tutorials in the wordpress tracks ,(.

Just play around with some of the free themes out there and see if anything seems to work.
