Set adapter as the default adapter for the AppListActivity using the setListAdaptor () which takes an adapter as a param

"Set adapter as the default adapter for the AppListActivity using the setListAdaptor () which takes an adapter as a parameter?" i am writing "setListAdaptor(adapter);" to the code but it doesn't accept it.. Can u please tell me where i am wrong? Thanks
