set focus to select dropdown and have it dropdown when page loads

on iphone or android mobile device my page has a single dropdown list when the page loads i want it to set focus to the control and drop down its list so the phones carousel displays with its list right now it requires the user to click the control to display its list how can i do this?

This sounds like it is a job for Javascript/jQuery. You might want to ask the question over there. Also if you could include your website's URL I might be able to help you. Not 100% sure what you mean by "phone carousel".
