Set the color of first and second level headlines to white using a hexadecimal value.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here. Please help me!

Hi there! You're very close here! We use the # to denote an id. And we use the . to denote a class. But basic elements like paragraphs, divs, h1 etc do not need a prefix. Your code is trying to apply the style to an element that has an ID of h1 instead of the h1 element. Remove the # and your code passes!
