I know, the code is a wreck. Here is how it works.

The data type goes first.

String

Then the name of the variable

String favoriteColor

Then the equals to set the value (the original code uses 'equals', you want '=')

String favoriteColor =

Then you add the name of the color you chose in the quotes:

String favoriteColor = "Green";
