Nothing wrong with the question, you just need to watch the videos more closely and make sure you understand what they teach you and what the challenge asks you to do. The code that passes:

def check_speed(car_speed)
  # write your code here
  if car_speed >= 40 && car_speed <= 50
    "safe"
  end
end
