JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript Getters and Setters Creating Setter Methods

setter

Hey coders I'm not sure why my code is not working but I delivered an emtpy setter method but it's not working?

creating_setters.js
class Student {
    constructor(gpa, credits){
        this.gpa = gpa;
        this.credits = credits;
    }

    stringGPA() {
        return this.gpa.toString();
    }

    get level() {
        if (this.credits > 90 ) {
            return 'Senior';
        } else if (this.credits > 60) {
            return 'Junior';
        } else if (this.credits > 30) {
            return 'Sophomore';
        } else {
            return 'Freshman';
        }
    }
}

set major(major) {
 this._major = major
 console.log('setter called: ${major}');
}

var student = new Student(3.9, 60);

Hi Alonzo, you're super close! Just move the setter method up so that it's inside the curly braces { } for the Student class.

class Student {
    // ...other existing methods here

    set major(major) {
        this._major = major
        console.log('setter called: ${major}');
    }
}
